      5.0 out of 5 stars Anti-Gravity Classic: 5 Stars, January 1, 2000
This review is from: Anti-Gravity and the World Grid (Lost Science (Adventures Unlimited Press)) (Paperback)
David Childress compiled this now classis collection of works relating to the geometric structure of the planet, the "world grid". Ancient civilizations knew about this geometry and sited their monuments at its points, including the Great Pyramid, Easter Island, and the Chinese and Maya pyramids. The Bermuda triangle is one such point among many. Many unusual natural features also occur at points which correlate with the earth grid geometry. For example, the Hawaiian volcanic seamount occurs at a 'tetrahedral' point which will be of interest to readers of Hoagland's Mars materials and followers of Drunvalo's flower-of-life work.

The book includes, among others, articles by Bethe Hagens & William Becker, who designed the EarthStar globe; Barbara Hero calculates and explains the musical equivalents of globe distances; Bruce Cathie's early method of detecting grid patterns through UFO sightings, and anomolies at other points, including nuclear testing... Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
This review is from: Anti-Gravity and the World Grid (Lost Science (Adventures Unlimited Press)) (Paperback)
This was a decent book. There certainly are Energy Grids on Earth, but I question some of the author's opinions on them. One article in particular that I felt was pretty good is "Diamagnetic Gravity Vortexes", however, I do have a criticism of the author.

Dr. Richard LeFors Clark wrote "Diamagnetic Gravity Vortexes", which is in this book. It is an interesting article, but the key points he makes, such as the fact that the North and South poles of magnetism reverse their polarity in the Bloch Wall (at the exact center of the magnet) in a broken figure eight pattern (he calls it a 'bow tie'), and that each magnetic pole has the opposite vortex spin (North pole spins counterclockwise, South pole spins clockwise), were all discoveries first made by Albert Roy Davis, yet Clark doesn't even mention Davis in the article. That particular information and diagrams 5, 6 and 7 on page 63, and diagram 8 on page 65 were taken from "Magnetism and Its Effects on the Living System",... Read more

      2.0 out of 5 stars Don't Waste Your Time, September 25, 2004
This review is from: Anti-Gravity and the World Grid (Lost Science (Adventures Unlimited Press)) (Paperback)
I was very excited about this purchase, but felt cheated when it finally arrived. I had hoped for a serious, systematic, scientific overview of the World Grid, and was sorely disappointed.

This book contained numerous grammar and punctuation errors, and shoddy images. It is difficult to take any book produced so unprofessionally seriously. If an individual does not attend to such details, how fastidious can they be about their scientific research? I try not to be completely superficial on this count, and have overlooked modest errors in small-press books that cannot afford top notch editing, but this level of incompetence is simply unacceptable.

I gave the book two stars instead of one because it does contain some useful information. For example, it includes a map of the grid as postulated by innovative Russian researchers, and correlates the locations of ancient monuments such as the Pyramids with node points. However, most, if not all, of this... Read more

A Book in Every Home Containing Three Subjects: Ed's Sweet Sixteen, Domestic and Political Views

      Rating: 4.8

A Book in Every Home Containing Three Subjects: Ed's Sweet Sixteen, Domestic and Political Views

      Product Description

Edward Leedskalnin (1887-1951) was an eccentric Latvian emigrant to the United States and amateur sculptor who, it is alleged, single-handedly built the monument known as Coral Castle in Florida. He was also known for his unusual theories on magnetism. His first and longest booklet, “A Book in Every Home,” a treatise on moral education, was printed on only the left-hand pages, and began with the following preface: “Reader, if for any reason you do not like the things I say in the little book, I left just as much space as I used, so you can write your own opinion opposite it and see if you can do better.” In the first section, Leedskalnin vents his anger at his "Sweet Sixteen," arguing that girls should be kept pure, and that boys are primarily a soiling influence upon them. The second section continues along the theme of moral education, with several aphorisms aimed at parents regarding the proper way to raise children. The last, "Political" section, reveals that the reclusive Leedskalnin had strong political views. He advocates voting for property owners only (and in proportion to their holdings), and argues that "Anyone who is too weak to make his own living is not strong enough to vote." Some writers have suggested that Leedskalnin's booklet contains further information on his electromagnetic research and philosophies encoded in its pages, and the blank pages are provided for the reader to fill in their decrypted solutions. It has also been suggested that Leedskalnin's frequent referral to his "Sweet Sixteen" may in fact refer to the numerological and/or scientific relevance of the number sixteen to his research and theories.

This review is from: How To Read His Writings: The Unauthorized Guide to Decoding Edward Leedskalnin's Works (Paperback)
I recently bought a copy of this "How To" book because of a stop I made at the Coral Castle while driving to the Florida Keys eight years ago.

That was when I became more than just curious as to how a near ninety pound -- five foot tall Edward Leedskalnin raised and moved tons of rock without any help or modern equipment. With camera in hand I took over three rolls of pictures that day as I walked amidst the megalithic rocks it contained. I even bought all of Edward Leedskalnin's writings that were for sale in the Coral Castle store, but upon later reading Leedskalnin's writings, I became totally lost by his rambling prose and wondered why I ever bought them since they made no sense at all to me.

When I came upon this "How To" book with its claim that Edward Leedskalnin encoded his secret in his works I couldn't pass it up. After reading it, I wondered if this "How To" book was just a prank or the truth. Did Edward Leedskalnin methodically hide his... Read more

I think the author tries to warn you that there's something fishy about this book with his little poem at the start, so swim away and don't get caught in the net or hook or whatever he thinks he's fishing with. I suspect if I fold the pages of this book a certain way, it spells out "YOU ARE A SUCKER!!"

Do not waste $28.00 (or 2 cents) on this book. I can't believe I fell for it and wished I would have listened to the guy that said it was "pure drivel" because it was. Marlinski needs a hobby! I thought the book would explain some sort of code or possibly interpret Leedsklanin's sketches or clarify something written incorrectly. . . I don't know. I do know, I didn't expect this: Leedsklanin took out an ad in the news paper to sell his Magnetic Current book, by asking those interested to send him a $1. Somehow, Marlinski reads this as a hint to take that dollar, fold it in half (or thirds, I don't remember and I bet it doesn't matter) and weave it through the... Read more

3.0 out of 5 stars Rock On, September 11, 2002

This review is from: How To Read His Writings: The Unauthorized Guide to Decoding Edward Leedskalnin's Works (Paperback)
After excitedly running downstairs & telling my husband about how Edward Leedskalnin would only respond to precisly two rings at his Rock Gate, I eagerly ran back upstairs to return to reading this book, anticipating a world of secret knowledge opened up to me through revelations about the incredible precision Leedskalnin must have employed in building his fantastic rock garden and in writing his mysterious works about magnetic currents.

However, I soon realized that the part about the two doorbell rings was the only part of this book I would really be able to understand. In a nutshell, it would appear that the author theorizes that Leedskalnin used a double mirror, a WWII enigma machine, the Bible, the properties of light, and his own wit and imagination to encode ancient knowledge about the mysteries of life (including anti-gravity) into both his rock garden and also his works on magnetic current. Also important is the apparent Eastern orientation of Leedskalnin's rock works... Read more
